If you are a member of the RMT or I.E in Norway you can apply to be a member of this site.
GUIDE TO JOINING THE FORUM FOR NEW APPLICANTS
“YOU MUST” when applying fill in the section that asks for the "FORUM USERNAME" with your RMT or I.E membership number. If you don't do that your application will be rejected.
If you do not know your RMT membership number, call 0207 529 8827 to get this before you apply to join the forum.
If you put anything other than a bonafide number in the "FORUM USERNAME" box the application will be rejected.
INSTRUCTIONS ARE OUTLINED BELOW. Copy these or print off
Click the “Register” icon on the opening page and a new page will open.
Put in a “Genuine Email Address” as you will be sent a verification code if your membership number is correct with the RMT or I.E records. If you put a false email address in you will not receive a verification code to join.
Then click the continue button.
Create a password of choice and verify it. Verification is to check you have not made a mistake with the first entry.
Put in the “YOUR NAME” box any name you like, this can be anything you like and this will not be seen on the forum.
Put in your Date of Birth. (Required by the forum host) to prove your age
Put in your Gender. (Required by the forum host)
Click the continue Button.
"YOU MUST" fill in the “FORUM USERNAME” box with your RMT or I.E MEMBERSHIP NUMBER. If you don’t know it call 0207 529 8827. If you put anything else in this box your application will be rejected.
Remember your number as you will need it to log in.
Tick the terms and condition box. (You can read these if you want) Click the link.
Click the Continue Button.
Fill in the Answer Displayed in the CAPTCHA box. This proves you are a human applicant and not a machine (a Bot as they are known) this stops spammers gaining access to the site.
Click the submit button
You will be sent an activation email with a linked code to the email address you provided at the beginning, so go to the Email account you provided to get this.
Either click the link code in the email which direct you back to this box, or copy and paste the link code into the Activation Key box.
Click the activate key.
You will then be told your account is pending following verification your membership number matches records.
If the membership number does not match the membership records or you have failed to fill in the “FORUM USERNAME” with a membership number, the application will be rejected.
If you have done this correctly your application is within a day or two. If you don't do as requested, then rejection will follow later.
The reason for filling in the Forum Username with the membership number is that it is held on a spread sheet which allows the admins to check you remain a member and stop non members continuing to access the site if they leave the RMT or I.E
Unfortunately I cannot change the "application process wording" to enter the forum as the software is not designed by me but was free from the service provider. I did ask to amend the wording but they said they could not do it. The only other option is, to pay for the software and a host forum at around $1500 per annum. I don't have a sugar daddy!
